Echoes from the past

KnaggsGoing through some cds the other day and found this gem recorded circa 2000 in Queen Street, Lancaster, which incidentally is the subject of some local controversy. Thought it would be a good chance to test the audio techniques of this website majobby – assuming you’ve got flash, you should be able to click on the play button below. Much respect to Knaggs – though you are in Wales, you are nonetheless a genius and of course as always salutations to our mediterranean cousin.

If you can’t see the player – I think you should able to download the track instead.

Man, I clicked with eager anticipation. I clicked until clickety done went right out of my fingers, but nuttin. Nuttin but no Naggs…Flash installed ok too.

Lame. This working / not working for anyone else?

  3. Bob says:

    It works for me.

I love this recording for so many reasons, but my favourite thing about it is the way you can hear Groover and Quasi Monk sniggering in the background throughout.

    Happy days, sorely missed.

Be good if someone could forward details of this posting to the Knaggster….. Sure he’d like a copy to prop up next to his Housemartin (sic?) cds.

  5. Bennie says:

Leave that to me. I’ve got the Knagebooster’s government secure email address….

Aha – it now works perfectly. Maybe my pc was up the spout yesterday. Excellent stuff, a bit like Pitman meets Gruey.
