Seeing all this high quality verse action going on, I am reminded that an update to the look, design and layout of bolo is well overdue. Rest assured that this is very much on my mind. Just need to finish work on the new Tags

An idea could be a searchable table of entries and/or a rating system based on how much an article is viewed/commented on or just rated. Another idea is the ability to upload footage of a completely bolo moment in the form of an MPEG. Nuf respect for the written word but im a bit of an audio visual person myself.
I’m all for the audio visual aspect too, but quite what this means from a bandwidth/website point of view I have no idea. Or we could just link to YouTube ? Otherwise, some sort of content menu would definitely be a bonus. Also, the avatars ? While I’m thinking about it, I’ve got to come to Lundun mate in mid September, to pretend to be knowledgeable on a stand at Olympia, so perhaps some linkage could be in order. Weekend of 16/17. Definitely agree with the audio visual angle. I’m more of a writing kind of person, but for a while I’ve been trying to encourage some of my illustrating/designing pals to put more stuff up on Bolo. As of yet, they are too slack. Regarding bandwidth – I think we can do it. I have my own server now, so it’s pretty much up to me how much bandwidth I allow bolo to have. Ha ha.
Avatars I tried to get working a while ago and failed miserably. I’ll put it on the list as something to nail for v2.
I also quite like the idea of displaying comments on the front page somewhere as well. The whole thing is partly about increasing the dialogue between us and the world, so I’d have no qualms about giving the comments people give a bit more prominence.
Hmm getting quite excited thinking about it.
